Hello and thank you for visiting our blog, ‘Warthog Tails’.
I’m David and I run this blog with Sally, my wife. We’ve started this blog as part of our desire to share our travels, love of wildlife, pictures and thoughts with family, friends and anyone else who can get value from what we share or can help with the causes we are passionate about.
I’ve always been fascinated by animals and wildlife whilst at school, but my real passion for wildlife started when I visited South Africa and the Kruger National Park when I was 21. I’ll never forget the first animal I saw; a bull elephant ripping up a tree at the side of the road 30 feet away! From that moment, I was hooked.
I met Sally in 2009. It took me a while to convince her of the excitement and exhilaration of safaris in the African bush; but I did in early 2013! That trip totally re-ignited my passion for safari and wildlife in general.
We are now about to embark on our third and most exciting trip to The Kruger.
Why ‘Warthog Tails’?
Ever since our first trip to the Kruger seeing warthog running through the bush, tails up, we’ve loved them. Rather comical, slightly funny-looking but very cute in their own way!
This blog is our journey through the bush, we hope you will join us…
